Membership Information

The Community Classroom Consortium (CCC) is a forum for community organizations that advances educational goals through collaboration of its individual members. It encourages synergy between its members and the community and strives to provide educational enrichment by offering authentic experiences through projects, programs and publications. These have included special events at the Governor's Square mall, "Beyond the Blackboard" educator training's, after-school programs for local community centers, Family Fun Days for neighborhoods, "Passport to Adventure" booklets, lesson plans and Resource Guides about member sites.

The CCC provides professional development and networking for its members, including workshops on adapting materials to Florida Comprehensive Achievement Testing (FCAT) standards, writing grants, getting materials published, and expanding partnerships in the community. The networking opportunities and spirit of cooperation flow through all CCC projects.
